Today, we were called to inspect and service a Winix W-3TD water dispenser, a model equipped with both hot and cold functions. The customer reported an issue with the cooling system, as the cold water temperature was unusually high at 50.3°C. Diagnosing and Repairing the Cooling Issue
- Initial Inspection and Disassembly
- The compressor is located at the back of the dispenser, but the access panel is on the front. After unscrewing the front panel, we carefully exposed the compressor and its components for inspection.

- Checking the Starter and Overload Protector
- Starter (black component): Measured resistance was 28 ohms, which is within the normal range.
- Overload Protector (white component): Measured resistance was 1.7 ohms, also within the acceptable range.

- 启动器（黑色组件）：测量阻值为 28 欧姆，属于正常范围。
- 过载保护器（白色组件）：测量阻值为 1.7 欧姆，也在正常范围内。
- Testing Compressor Power Supply
- We traced the issue to the thermostat switch, which connects directly to the compressor. Upon short-circuiting the two thermostat wires to test the compressor, it successfully started.
- The power meter showed a current of 0.56A, and the temperature of the cold water reservoir dropped from 50.3°C to 7.8°C, confirming that the thermostat switch was faulty.

- PP Sediment Filter: Removes large particles and sediments.
- UDF GAC Carbon Filter: Adsorbs chlorine and unpleasant odors.
- CTO Carbon Filter: Enhances water taste and quality.
- UF Membrane Filter: Ultra-fine filtration with a precision of 0.01 microns, capable of removing bacteria and viruses.
