1️⃣ On-Site Inspection – Confirming the Heating Failure
To diagnose the issue, we dispensed a small cup of hot water and measured the temperature using an infrared thermometer. The reading was only 28.9°C, which is the same as room temperature, indicating that the heating element was not functioning.
🚨 Possible Causes of the Heating Failure:
✔ Faulty Heating Element – A damaged heating element cannot generate heat.
✔ Defective Thermal Cutoff (Thermostat) – A faulty overheat protection device prevents the heating system from activating.

2️⃣ Disassembling & Inspection – Burnt Thermostart & Power Wires Found
We removed the water filter and opened the back panel to inspect the internal heating system. After a detailed examination, we found the following problems:
🛑 Burnt Thermostart – The resistance reading was 37.1Ω, which indicates that it had deteriorated, causing unstable electrical flow.
🛑 Burnt Power Wire – The yellow power wire was scorched due to electrical arcing, which required immediate replacement.
💡 What is the function of the Thermostart?
The thermal cutoff (or thermostat) is a crucial safety component that prevents the heating element from overheating. If it fails, the water dispenser may stop heating or function abnormally.
2️⃣ 拆机检查 – 发现限温器和电源线烧焦
我们先卸下滤芯,然后打开后盖,对内部加热系统进行详细检查,发现了以下问题:
🛑 限温器烧坏 – 组织电阻值 37.1Ω,已经老化,影响电流稳定性。
🛑 电源线烧焦 – 黄色电源线出现打火烧糊现象,需要更换。
💡 限温器的作用:
限温器是饮水机的重要保护装置,防止加热管温度过高,一旦损坏,饮水机可能无法加热或加热异常。
3️⃣ Repair Process – Replacing the Thermal Cutoff & Rewiring
🔧 Step 1: Replacing the Burnt Power Wire
✅ Removed the burnt yellow power wire to prevent short circuits.
✅ Installed a new high-temperature-resistant power wire and soldered the connections securely to ensure stable electrical flow.
3️⃣ 维修过程 – 更换限温器 & 重新接线
✅ 步骤 1:更换电源线
- 取下烧焦的黄色电源线
- 重新接一条耐高温电源线,并使用焊锡加固,确保接触良好
🔧 Step 2: Installing New Thermal Cutoff
✅ Removed the two damaged thermal cutoffs that were preventing the heating function from working.
✅ Installed brand new thermal cutoffs to restore proper heating circuit functionality.
✅ Applied thermal grease to the bottom of the thermal cutoff before installation, ensuring optimal heat transfer and tight contact with the stainless steel heating tank.
✅ 步骤 2:更换限温器
- 拆除原来的两颗损坏限温器
- 更换全新限温器,确保加热电路恢复正常
- 在安装前,必须在限温器底部涂抹导热硅胶,确保与不锈钢加热桶紧密贴合,提高导热效率
4️⃣ Testing & Final Assembly – Heating Restored Successfully!
After completing the repairs, we reassembled the water dispenser, plugged in the power, Amp is 2.74A and activated the heating function. Using an infrared thermometer, we conducted a final temperature check:
🌡 The water temperature rose to 77.3°C, confirming that the heating element was working properly again!
✅ Hot water supply restored!
✅ Water dispenser heating system fully functional!
4️⃣ 测试 & 复原 – 恢复正常加热功能
所有部件安装完毕后,我们插上电源,钳形电流表测得电流为2.74A,加热功能工作,并使用温度枪检测:
🌡 水温上升至 77.3°C,加热管已恢复工作,饮水机加热功能修复成功!
